| "Leave your tiaras at the door" this is a Mama Trie est rule since 2004 ***THERE ARE ONLY TWO RULES OF ELIGABILITY*** 1. As of Oct. 31 2008, you MUST be 18 or under to compete 2. Between Nov. 1 2007 and Oct. 31 2008 you must have entered at least ONE online contest It is the discretion of Mama Trie and the parent as to which division children compete in. EXAMPLE: If a girl turned 6 in October, which is the END of our award year, they competed over 11 months in the age 3-5 divison and will most likely be placed in that division. Rules may differ for each set of nominees. Please scroll down to see what categories are opened for nominations and what rules go with them.... When you (confidentially) nominate someone, I will send the parents a letter of information with rules/details on which type of photo to send in. If they choose to accept the nomination they will send me a photo. It will be posted on the nominees page when the nominations are CLOSED. As the nominator, you will also be informed that I have indeed sent a letter. Obviously, you cannot nominate your own child/family member. Any category that has more than 5 nominees, will be judged by my panel of VOTES CHOICE judges. Criteria will depend on which category is being judged. boys/girls natural based on facial beauty & overall impression optionals based on overall impression of the optional at hand overall glitz criteria TBA Any category that has 5 or less nominees will automatically move on to the final voting round as finalists The panel of 61 that have signed on the Voters Choice ML that I advertised for TWO WEEKS on boards, mailing lists and shout outs, will then be permitted to VOTE for their favourite. If you didn't sign up for this ML, YOU CANNOT VOTE. The only exception to this rule is those who ARE finalists. Winners from previous years may compete as long as they meet the 2 rules of eligability at the top of this page Please play fair and if someone writes you asking to nominate their child, or trade votes, please consider what they are asking of you before doing so.
