***THERE ARE ONLY TWO RULES OF ELIGIBILITY***

1. As of Oct. 31 2009, you MUST be 18 or under to compete
2. Between Nov. 1 2008 and Oct. 31 2009  you must have
entered at least ONE online contest


***HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE***

When you (confidentially) nominate someone, I will send the
parents a letter of information with rules/details on which type
of photo to send in.If they choose to accept the nomination they will send me a
photo along with their name, age, and state.It will  be posted on the nominees page when the
nominations are CLOSED. As the nominator, you will also be informed that I have indeed sent a letter.
Obviously,  you cannot nominate your own child/family member.

***EACH PERSON CAN NOMINATE TWO PEOPLE***

So think very hard about who you wish to nominate.
 

***WHERE TO SEND NOMINATION AND HOW TO HELP***

Please send nomination emails to VCA 09 NOMINATION
you can nominate one or both people in the same email. If you can only think of one person
right now, thats fine, you can nominate another one later.

Your email should include as much info as possible in order to find this person.
Name and email are the easiest, but not everyone has email addresses
Perhaps a contest where you have seen their photo (then I can contact the contest)
or the name/email of another person whom you think will have it.
If all you have is a name then I will do my very best to try and find that person.
I have a wonderful team of contest directors who have helped me find people in the past,
and I will not hesitate to use them again this year. (TIA ladies)


NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2009 VCA's ARE NOW CLOSED!



Any category that has 6+ nominees, will be judged
by my panel of VOTES CHOICE judges.
Criteria will be based on facial beauty & overall impression

Any category that has 5 or less nominees will automatically
move on to the final voting round as finalists

I advertised the Voters Choice ML
for TWO WEEKS from Novemer 16th until December 1st
on boards, mailing lists and  shout outs, so that you were able to join.
YOU MUST BE ON THIS ML TO VOTE and this year we have 37 members.
Nobody at this time will be added to the ML.
The only exception to this rule is those who ARE finalists.

We all know voting is a popularity contest.
But by doing it this way, when little Suzie's mom finds out she is a finalist, she cannot go
post on every board she knows asking for votes.This is the way I have run it since I started


Winners from previous years may compete  as long as they
meet the 2 rules of eligibility at the top of this page

Please play fair and if someone writes you asking to nominate
their child, or trade votes, please consider what they are
asking of you before doing so.
